thank you to those who constantly encouraged me to press on.. and to tell me that it's just a few more days.. thank you to those who helped me in searching for the things i couldn't find.. thank you to the one who proof read my sentences and helped me with the editing.. thank you to those who has been driving me around.. thank you to those who were concerned bout the injury.. and not to forget.. a housemate who has been cooking and washing for pretty much the past 2 weeks..
3 things tat stayed really faithful throughout that period:
the crutches, my computer and my guitar.. how could i have survived?
and now, to continue with my teapot stories...
[the yam cha episode]
foreword:
we've already established the fact that the Owner's first love is upon all the teapots that He own.. having said that, in this episode we'll find that other than His teapots.. the Owner loves dim sum as well (who doesn't? =P)
the scene selection would be of a crowded noisy chinese dim sum restaurant..
while waiting for His food to come, the 'teapot collector' requested to be served with tea using His own teapot.. seeing numerous cracks on the teapot, the waiter doubted that the tea would stay in the teapot.. but he did as he was instructed.. and to his amazement, the teapot held the tea perfectly.. ah.. wonders of an all-purpose-super-glue =)
across the other end of the room.. siu mai said to har gow..
siu mai: isn't it amazing how the teapot could still hold tea after numerous smashes?
har gow: i find it even more amazing how the teapot got itself smashed again and again..
siu mai: i guess teapots never do learn =har gow: *shrugz*
moral of the story:
there's a difference in knowing theories and actually putting them into application.. it'd probably turn out to be just like a smoker attempting to quit smoking while holding on to a lighted cigarette..
